OUR STORY
In 1909, at the corner of Lake Street and Hennepin Avenue in Minneapolis, young Albert would stand over a small copper kettle filled with the best ingredients attainable. Cooking his new confections over an open flame, Albert knew that every recipe had to be absolutely perfect or he would have to try again. He understood that as a newcomer to this country, he would have to create a product that was so high in quality, that its success would be guaranteed.
